Cailee Spaeny Reveals the Sweet Gesture Taylor Swift Made When They Met at Golden Globes (Exclusive)

The 'Priscilla' star was notably star struck by the pop star when they met for the first time.

Cailee Spaeny may not have taken home a trophy at the 81st Golden Globe Awards on Sunday -- but she did snag a coveted snapshot with Taylor Swift

"Oh my god," the Priscilla star gushed to ET's Denny Directo at the 14th annual Governor's Awards in Los Angeles on Tuesday. "I was freaking out."

Spaeny, 25, said that she was attending the Globes with a friend, who urged her to approach 34-year-old Swift at the event. Spaeny was nominated in the Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture -- Drama category for her portrayal of Priscilla Presley in Sofia Coppola's film, while Swift's Eras Tour concert doc was nominated in the category of Cinematic and Box-Office Achievement.

"I honestly couldn't tell you who won or what anyone said, because sitting right in front of me -- I'm just staring at the back of her head the whole time," Spaeny admitted. "My friend's like, 'Tonight's the night. You're meeting her.' I'm like, 'I don't know what to say' and she was so cool. Like, oh my god, the nicest person ever."

After finding someone to make an introduction between the two, Spaeny said that Swift could not have been more gracious.

"She was like, 'Oh my god, how are you?' Like, she just dove right in," the actress gushed. "She's such a pro. She was like, 'Can I have a picture with you?' I was like, 'Oh my god.'"

Swift was joined at the Globes by her good friend, Keleigh Teller, while her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, was busy with his Kansas City Chiefs as the team battled the Los Angeles Chargers across town. Swift appeared to have a blast at the Hollywood event, chatting with pal Selena Gomez, snapping a selfie with Barry star Bill Hader, and enthusiastically cheering on other nominees and winners.

On Tuesday, Spaeny was a vision in white as she stepped out for the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences' Governors Awards at The Ray Dolby Ballroom. She chose a Miu Miu gown with an embellished bow and cutout midriff for the pre-Oscars occasion.

"I adore them," she said of the brand. "I think the whole throughline has just been like an homage to the past, also little hints of Priscilla, but keeping it modern -- so lots of bows, which I think is very Priscilla."

The star -- who plays Elvis Presley's wife, Priscilla, in Sofia Coppola's film -- couldn't help but add, "I've just been having so much fun. I feel like a princess."

She was also thrilled to take a moment and celebrate her fellow actors who are having a moment this year.

"I'm overwhelmed by all the people I look up to in this room," she shared. "I'm staring at, there's Robert Downey, Jr. and Emily Blunt looks so gorgeous, and there's Florence Pugh! Anyways, I just hope it's a great night of celebrating films. It's been such a, you know, a whirlwind for our industry this year but we've had a lot of highs and I think just coming together and getting to celebrate film, I think people are really excited for film again."
