Kim and Khloe Kardashian Give Back at Los Angeles Women's Shelter

In the spirit of the season, the sisters gave back to a nonprofit organization in Los Angeles.

The Kardashian sisters are giving back!

Kim and Khloe Kardashian took a trip to the Alexandria House Wednesday, a nonprofit organization that provides shelter, childcare, counseling and job readiness for hundreds of homeless women in Los Angeles, to not only cast a spotlight on the organization but donate their time and resources. Khloe documented the trip in a post shared to Instagram Thursday.

"This holiday season we would love to spotlight a wonderful organization called @AlexandriaHouseLA, a non profit organization that has provided shelter, childcare, counseling and job readiness for hundreds of homeless women for the past 25 years in Los Angeles," Khloe's post began. "The founding director, Judy Vaughan along with her amazing staff are doing incredible work within the community. They most recently started Start Up Sisterhood, a program that was born during the Covid pandemic to help give their women the tools and mentorship they need to start their own small businesses. It truly takes a village and thru the support of community organizations such as Alexandria House, we can make the difference in so many lives."

The Good American co-founder also included a link to Alexandria House's website for her followers to donate or learn more about the nonprofit.

In addition to Khloe's thoughtful message, the mother of two also shared photos from their trip to Alexandria House, which saw Khloe speaking to a group there, and her and Kim posing with the women at the organization and those who run the nonprofit as well. Kim's daughter, North, was also in attendance as well as Khloe's daughter, True, and their niece, Dream.

Their mom, Kris Jenner, was also a part of the day, helping organize the special holiday for the women and children at Alexandria House.

Earlier in the week, they arranged for Christian Smith Light to install Christmas lights to the exterior of both of the Alexandria House homes, and made a six-figure cash donation.

The special day also included an afternoon of pampering for the women at the shelter, with hair and makeup services by Glam Squad followed by mini portrait photo sessions for them with their children, with photographers Larissa Block and Diana Henderson.

Kim and Khloe also visited Alexandria House to tour the homes, meet with the staff and volunteers, as well as the women and children currently in their transitional program. They also met with the women in their Start Up Sisterhood program to learn more about the businesses that they have each all started after moving out of the Alexandria House.

In addition to time spent at Alexandria House, Kim and Khloe surprised all of the families with boxes of gifts valued at over $5,000 per family. Inside, everyone received Google Chrome laptops, SKIMS, Good American gift cards, Kylie Skin and Cosmetics, Safely candles, Burst Electronic toothbrushes, Stoney Clover backpacks and toiletry bags, Ouai products, Vans gift cards, LEGO sets, Shutterfly gift cards, Beats Studio Buds, Hasbro toys, Ulta gift cards, Burger King gift cards, Abercrombie gift cards, Squishmallows, Children’s Place pajamas, Burts Bees products, Nez products, Go Puff gift cards and shoes from Stuart Weitzman.

"Even though many people are celebrating the holiday with family and friends, these days can be very challenging for those dealing with very difficult life challenges, including being without a place to live. Thank you so much to the Kardashians and their team for bringing so much love, joy and unexpected generosity to the women and children that we serve," Judy Vaughn, Founding Director of Alexandria House, said following the event.
