The 40-year-old former soccer pro was inspired by one of his 4-year-old daughter's doodles and decided to get it tattooed onto the palm of his hand. "Apparently Harper is allowed to scribble on daddy," the doting dad Instagrammed on Wednesday.

Harper's mom, Victoria Beckham, was also a fan of her husband's new ink, calling her little girl "a true little artist."

That wasn't the only ink David showed off this week. He also had a message on his left ribcage from his sons, Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 13, and Cruz, 10, that read: "We love you daddy."

"The boys expressing how they feel about daddy," he captioned the photo.

David has been getting tattoos as tributes to his family all year.

Earlier this summer, he got ink of the number 99 in honor of the year he and his wife, Victoria, got married. It was also the same year the couple gave birth to their first son, Brooklyn.
