Patrick Schwarzenegger Reveals How His Dad Got Him to Stop Smoking Weed 4 Years Ago

The son of Arnold Schwarzenegger said he's 'high on life now!'

Patrick Schwarzenegger hasn't smoked weed in years.

The 25-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger took to Instagram over the weekend to reveal how his famous dad encouraged him to stop smoking weed.

"FUN STORY: Few years ago (4 exactly) showed up lil high to Easter brunch... classic. My old man asked why... said 'I dunno makes thing more fun.'" Patrick wrote alongside a selfie where he's giving the peace sign. "He replied how much more fun do you need to have, life is so good. I’m high on life. I never want anything that would take me out of my current life. Being high on life is better then anything else."

"Long story short... Haven’t smoked since then... just HIGH ON LIFE NOW!" Patrick continued. "Happy & healthy & can’t thank god enough to see another day! Happy 4/20 sorry if that was a buzz kill lol"

Patrick's post comes amid an exciting time for his sister, Katherine Schwarzenegger, who's engaged to Chris Pratt. Patrick's spent some time bonding with his future brother-in-law, even attending a Clippers game together back in December.

When ET's Lauren Zima caught up with Katherine last month, she gushed about how her family and fiance are working together to help plan their upcoming nuptials.

"I mean, I feel like we're all really involved in wedding planning," she said at the time. "I think that, you know, for me my family is very involved. I'm very involved, [Chris is] very involved so it's a great combination of everything and just a really exciting and fun [time]."
